Christmas Decorations on Facade of Centrepoint Mall, Singapore, 2005

Christmas Decorations, Singapore, 2005

Christmas Decorations, Singapore, 2005. A sweet theme.

Who knew that Singapore goes crazy for Christmas. The malls and the streets are lavishly decorated. Centrepoint is one of the malls on Orchard Road, the main shopping street in Singapore. In 2014, Singapore has 11 public holidays, 8 of which are allocated to the ethnic and/or religious communities that are part of the Singapore culture: Chinese New Year (2 days), Buddhist Vesak Day (1 day),  Islamic Hari Raya Aidil Fitri (1Syawal) (1 day) and Hari Raya Aidil Adha (10 Zulhijah) (1 day), Hindu Deepavali (1 day) and two Christian holidays-Good Friday and Christmas Day (25 December).
