Americana on the Road

You can find some lovely art along American backroads and highways. This is Dolly Dimples outside Valvo’s Candy Store in Silver Creek, New York.  She has apparently been in front of the store for at least 30 years, though she may have originally been part of a drive-in restaurant.  That would make sense based on her outfit and pose.
