Waiting for Christmas
My sister Cecilia’s Christmas tree is entirely decorated with birds, most of them glass ornaments. When I visit her for the holidays, I love helping to unwrap the beautiful decorations and put them on the tree under the watchful eye of her dolls. I missed out on decorating this year because I will be spending the holidays in North Pole, Alaska,near Fairbanks. No question I will have a white Christmas.

Beautiful tree and dolls! I have been to Alaska but in August when it was still warm. The day after we left snow was due on August 11th! It is a breathtaking place to go by landing sea!

Hey. I only seem to make it to Alaska in the winter for the holidays. One of my sisters and her family live there and I love spending Christmas with them. The last time I went it was very cold, -45 degrees Farenheit for most of the week. I am hoping for something warmer this winter. 🙂

Actually, this tree is at my sister’s New York state. 🙂 I am in Virginia but I will be in my sister’s in Alaska for Christmas. I have lots of sisters so always have options for the holidays. 🙂
