April in Istanabul is tulip month. Tulips were everywhere. They surrounded the dry fountain in the Revan Kiosk (garden pavilion) in the Fourth Courtyard of Topkapi Palace. The Fourth Courtyard was the private sanctuary of the sultan and his family.

I hope you love Istanbul as much as I did. It is a wonderful city. If you have time, take one of the culinary backstreets food tours. We visited markets and small eateries and tried different food at each stop. Even sheeps brain, which I didn’t try. 🙂
