Russian Sergei Diaghilev, ballet impresario and founder of the Ballets Russes, is buried on the island of San Michele, Venice’s cemetery. Ballet dancers often leave a spare pair of used toe shoes placed on his grave stone.

Yes. This is the only one I know of because of his connection with ballet. Love you site, by the way. I was in Jaipur briefly a couple of years ago but wasn’t feeling well so didn’t see much of the city. Loved Rajasthan.
