Ah, Paris. It’s been many decades since I visited, and the pyramids weren’t there then. I hope to get back there someday soon, now that I’m retired! How did you like Cuba? I went there in 2001 on an “art & architecture” tour, so it was approved by the U.S. government.
I do love Paris. I am always surprised how well the pyramids work as the entrance to the Louvre. I had mixed feelings about Cuba. I enjoyed the trip and the people were wonderful but felt a bit like a colonial. So much available to tourists that is not available to Cubans.
Hey. Sorry I didn’t see your comment. I was in Cuba for a week. No problem with the same subject. I think it is wonderful that we are able to travel and visit such wonderful places.
Hi. Sorry I didn’t respond earlier. Just returned from a week in Cuba. I have to try to start running into some fellow bloggers. Maybe we should wear WordPress buttons. 🙂

Sorry, Marie, I didn’t see your post. I might have chosen something else. On the other hand – great minds…

I thought it was kind of telling – after all, the participants in these challenges are from all over the world and end up in the same spot.
