Kataragama is located in southern Sri Lanka. It is a pilgrimage town sacred to Buddhist, Hindu, Muslim and indigenous Vedda people of Sri Lanka. This cow was wandering through the Kataragama temple complex.

We went late in the late afternoon and stayed for an evening puja. If you haven’t been in the evening when all the neon lights are on and have time, it is worth it. 🙂 I loved Sri Lanka.
