Stunning view! We took the train to Gornergrat. I didn’t realize there was a gondola. How fun! Thanks for joining the challenge!

Thanks. It was a bit nerve wracking. It took about 30 minutes.

In December of 2000, I went to Geneva Switzerland alone. One of the side trips was to the top of the French Alps. I thought the bus was taking us all the way up, but found out I had to take a gondola ride, and I said no way. But, I finally went because the tour guide was missing the view from the top of the Alps because of my fear, and I just couldn’t let that happen. I rode up with my back to the scenery. But, when I stepped out into the cold, clear, beautiful, majestic, and magnificent mountaintop, I knew that I would never let fear rule my life. I thought about all I had missed, as I enjoyed the beauty of snow covered mountains. My daughter asked me why I took so many pictures of snow. I just could not capture the radiant beauty of it. Beautiful picture today.
