Base of pipe organ/entry into choir, Seville Cathedral, Spain
The marble atrium supports one of two pipe organs in the Seville Cathedral. The doors open into the sides of the choir, giving access to the stalls. The original organs were built in the 17th and 18th centuries but were later destroyed in an earthquake. This architectural element dates much later than the cathedral itself, which is the world’s largest Gothic church.

I did love Seville. I need to go back. Not enough time on a tour to really get to know the city. 🙂

oh I don’t do tours and have been there several times, it is simply enchanting to wander through their amazing city 🙂

Hi. I have only started doing tours the last couple of years. I travel solo still (Off to Copenhagen next week) but if a tour covers a number of cities or a country I wouldn’t do solo, I do join one (only small groups). The tour to Egypt last November was one of my best trips. And aging feet do appreciate having everything organized. 🙂

lol I totally get that Marie .. I fortunately did my travel in my prime, cheap and rough but so many amazing experiences 🙂
