Cross country rail adventure
My home for the next three days. I am taking the train from Washington DC to Los Angeles California to visit one of my sisters. 64 hours, not counting a 6 hour break in Chicago where I change trains. Just over 3000 miles. It’s a big country. One of my bucket list adventures.
Any followup on this? 😉 You have done a lot of things on my bucket list; most of mine are still remain on the list ;-( I truly admire you, Marie.

Just kind words, Helen. Thank you. I am going to do a post on Amtr as k. I did one for my my Facebook page but not for WP yet. Maybe we should all throw our our bucket lists and follow our inspirations. I am of to Africa in March. First a trip to Alaska to help my sister after she had shoulder surgery.

How wonderful! It’s one of my bucket-list items too, so I’m eager to hear whatever reports you care to share.

I have fond memories of traveling cross country by rail when i was little. I love the sound of the wheels on the track when falling asleep. Hope you love it.

Does your bench convert to a bed? Is there a shower?

Yes to both. The shower and toilet share a space. The couch folks down into a bed wider than the bench, which is nice.
