The Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Mondsee, Austria, was constructed in the late 15th century and was originally part of a Benedictine abbey. The famous wedding scene in the Sound of Music was filmed here and it is a popular stop on the Sound of Music Tour. The basilica was restored from 2005 to 2009.
