Covered walkway on the west side of the Plaza de la Armería, Royal Palace, Madrid, Spain. Madrid’s Royal Palace is the largest by floor area in Europe and contains 3,418 rooms. While designated as the official royal residences, it is used only for state and formal occasions. Palace constructions began in 1735.
One of several medieval wood-paneled rooms in the Tyrolean Folk Art Museum in Innsbruck, Austria. The room was reconstructed inside the museum. The light casting the shadows is from an interior corridor of the museum.
